About this blog

This is a window into the weird world of Anglicanism, as experienced on a Cathedral Close. Has anything much happened since Trollope's Barchester Chronicles? You will still see the 'canon in residence' hurrying across to choral Evensong, robes flapping, as the late bell chimes. But look carefully and you will notice he is checking the football score on his iPhone as he runs. This is also a writer's blog. It charts the agony and ecstasy of the novelist's life. And it's a fighter's blog. It charts the agony and ecstasy of the judo mat. Well, the agony, anyway.

  1. Can't seem to comment on the other site. But I love it! Fab intro to the setting, characters etc. Can't wait for the next instalment! How exciting!

  2. That's odd. I wonder why you can't comment on the other blog? Glad you liked it, anyway.

  3. There didn't seem to be a way to comment as just a 'person' with no website etc. - the 'name/url' option that's on here. It's all Greek to me - this is what I'm hoping to understand during my lesson!!

  4. Oo-er. That's sounds a bit technical to me. I expect we'll muddle through. Generally if you ask Twitter, someone knows.
